Teaser confirms live Z1 Pro with Snapdragon 712 chip, 32MP front camera and circular notch

The Chinese live manufacturer has just confirmed new details about its upcoming release to the Chinese market for the intermediate smartphone category: the live Z1 Pro. Even after confirming its existence by the tweet published in the middle of this week, the company gives you even more information about the device.

In the official teasers made available live on the product website, we see that the manufacturer has confirmed once again the whole design of the device, which will arrive with a circular notch screen to house its front camera, in addition to offering a back cover in blue gradient tone to the dark.

The presence of the Snapdragon 712 chipset was also confirmed, being the first smartphone to be sold in India with Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 700 series platform.

Still related to specifications, the company has confirmed the huge capacity of 5,000 mAh battery for the device, which will still support the fast charging of 18W that will be included.

Finally, another teaser released by the company focuses on the circular notch to house the device's only front-facing camera, which will have 32 MP resolution and aims to offer more content on display without sacrificing a large panel gate for that.

Rumors suggest that it be sold only via internet, priced at 15,000 rupees,
The smartphone has not yet gained official release date, but news should come in the next few days, so stay tuned!

Samsung denies launch of Galaxy Fold in July and says "nothing has progressed"

In a note unveiled by the Korean newspaper The Korea Herald , a Samsung executive dismissed rumors by confirming that the company's first foldable smartphone has no official plans to be released in July.

After indications that the South Korean giant was finalizing the necessary corrections to (re) start sales of the Galaxy Fold scheduled to launch in June, the month was passing and rumors were updated with forecast for June. But unfortunately neither date is correct.

Samsung has said that "nothing has progressed since the delay of April" and that even if the company has confirmed the launch "in the coming weeks", this forecast will take more time than expected.

Galaxy Fold has also delayed the launch of its main competitor, Huawei Mate X , which may now become the first foldable smartphone on the world market as the Chinese giant plans to launch device sales sometime in the month of September.

Of course, there is still a possibility that the "next few weeks" planned by Samsung will happen in August, along with the launch of Galaxy Note 10 , but disputing space with the company's own launch would be a problem that the company definitely does not want to deal with.

That way, we will still have to wait for new information on details of the development of improvements to the Galaxy Fold screen, and hope that the device has its sales started as soon as possible with adjustments.

Galaxy S10 lost half resale value in the US

Mobile phones in the Samsung Galaxy S10 line have lost up to 53% of their resale value in the United States since the launch in March of this year. The information is from the site BankMyCell, specialized in selling used cell phones. The devaluation was greater than that suffered by the previous line in the same period after the launch: Galaxy S9 had a 41.6% loss.

The three models in the series - S10, S10 + and S10e - had their values decreased by 44.4%, 40% and 53.3%, respectively. There are variations in the numbers according to the specifications of the model, but they are always on the same level. The S10 + is the one with the biggest monetary loss, dropping from $ 1600 to $ 850. The site's projection is that the Galaxy S10 line loses 65% of its value until March 2020.

Worse still in comparison

When compared to competitors, the decline in the resale value of Samsung's cell phones gets even more sudden. The devaluation of the Galaxy S10 in a month is more than that of the iPhone XS / XR in nine months, as the Apple line lost 42.4% of the resale value since it was launched.

However, not everything is flowers to the users of the company's apple cell phones. The data also indicate that the iPhone XS is suffering much faster price depreciation that iPhone X . While the first one lost 44.78% of value after nine months of launch, the second had lost 30.9% in the same period.

When older models are compared, Apple's depreciation is still lower than that of the competitor. The Galaxy S9 lost an average of 63.29% of the value after a year of release, while the iPhone X lost 46.8% over the same period

Moto Z4 powered by Microsoft Surface Pen

The Moto Z4 is coming out and this week one of its features, which has been hit by everyone, appeared discreetly on the web. A Reddit user claims he was able to test a Microsoft Surface Pen by pairing the accessory via Bluetooth .

The conversation was spotted by XDA Developers . According to jjsaturday, "it worked as you would expect, with pressure sensitivity and everything else" and with "the rubber button as a return button". He even posted some drawings made with the digital pen - incidentally, this is no longer a secret, since the product page itself describes this medium.

It is worth noting that the gadget needs to be purchased separately. Well, that would be one more way to try to keep up with Motorola's consumer preference - mainly because, even though in the past the line was tied to the premium market, it's now only in the middle range.

Supposed LG W appears in real picture with three rear cameras and blue gradient tone

We have recently seen the first information related to the alleged LG W , an intermediary smartphone of the South Korean brand that would debut a new line of devices within the company.

After having appeared on Amazon India's website , revealing some of its main features, we see it leaking into a real image, reaffirming several of the information already disclosed and giving us another notion of how it will look.

This is the phone in that blue gradient color we saw in promotional materials, with three rear photo sensors, an LED flash just below the camera module and a fingerprint reader in the center, also behind.

It has antenna lines on the sides, indicating that besides the glass, the body also has metal in that region. The volume button and the power button are on the right side.

The picture also shows, finally, that there is a sound output on the bottom, just next to the charging port (which is not clear if it is a Micro USB connection or USB Type-C).

The LG W should rely on LG's Boombox technology to enhance the sound quality seen in the LG G8 ThinQ. The 3.5mm P2 port for headphones does not appear here, but may be in the upper region.

It is also known that the LG W will also have a drop-shaped notch at the top of the display, as well as an eight-core 12-nm processor and 2.0 GHz clock.

In addition, a 4000 mAh battery and the Android operating system 9.0 Pie is also expected. Unfortunately, there is no date yet for it to be revealed. So we'll have to wait for more news.

LG G7 ThinQ finally begins to receive update for Android 9 Foot

The LG began to release the Android Pie for LG G7 thinq , update that was planned for early 2019, but had only reached the handsets sold in South Korea. The rest of the world had to wait until almost the middle of the year to receive the news of the most current version of the operating system.

Although the company is not one of the fastest to offer Android updates, maybe this time it was not just her fault. It is possible that the delay was caused by telephone operators operating outside of South Korea.

If the update has not yet knocked on your door, try to search for updates to your G7 ThinQ manually. If it indicates that the Android 9.0 Pie is available, make sure you are connected to a WiFi network, as the file has 1.4 GB. If nothing is found, have patience: the update is being released gradually, according to the homologation of the telephone operators.

The fact is that, finally, the Android Pie can reach your G7 ThinQ at any time. This is enough reason for you to feel more comfortable and start thinking about the news that you can enjoy, such as gesture navigation.

In Europe, some operators have already released the update. In the US, only Metro and Verizon have confirmed the update for now.

Google Pixel 3a shows internal parts and facility for teardown repairs

After undergoing a test of durability , it was the turn of the new Google Pixel 3a to have its internal parts exposed in a teardown . The video was hosted by JerryRigEverything on YouTube.

The highlight is for its simplicity when it is opened, which means repairs without great difficulties, in case of some greater damage. You can check the results of the experiment in the player below:

Easy-to-change screen

One of the main features of the internal components present in the Pixel 3a is its ease in maintaining its display. With a simple connector attached to the card that protects the other components, you can change your screen without exposing the other parts of the device.

The connector is separated only by two simple screws in a small cap, without any secrets for its removal.

Other hardware follows the same line

When removing the plastic protection plate, with another 14 screws, it is possible to have access to the other modules. Both the battery and other parts, such as USB-C port, cameras, sound output and side button, follow the same principle of removal without secrets.

In addition, it is possible to verify that none of the components has the kind of rubber seal, responsible for water resistance.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro appears in buttonless renderings for Bixby

Samsung is preparing to launch another top-of-the-line model for 2019. Which is Galaxy Note 10 , which is expected to win with a bigger brother.

The so-called Galaxy Note 10 Pro should be a smartphone enhanced over the standard device, with some minor improvements. Among them, we find the inclusion of a ToF (Time of Flight) camera in the rear, for example.

After the traditional Galaxy Note 10 has its design revealed by renderings this week, we see the Galaxy Note 10 Pro emerge, showing to be quite similar to the smaller device. Here we find a rear with the camera system in the upper left corner, three inside a module, and a ToF sensor on the side, with an LED flash also nearby.

Rumors said that this variant would bring a dual front-facing camera, as seen on the Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10 5G, but that should not be the case here. The Galaxy Note 10 Pro comes with just one front-facing photo sensor, placed in a more centralized region.

On buttons, the device must give up the dedicated button for Samsung's personal assistant, Bixby. So the power and volume buttons will be placed on the left side.

Below, we find the sound output, a microphone, the traditional S-Pen pen, and the USB-C port. Unfortunately the 3.5mm P2 input for headphones has been removed. At the top we find the SIM card drawer for operators and what looks like an infrared sensor.

Note: These renderings are a bit exaggerated, especially the chin, which is actually only a little smaller than the S10+. (by: Ice Universe)

Alleged technical specifications - Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro

  • 6.75-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution (1440x3040p)
  • Infinity-O panel with center oblong notch and 19.5: 9 aspect ratio
  • Support for HDR10 +
  • 7-nanometer Snapdragon 855 / Exynos 9820 Chipset
  • Up to 12 GB of RAM
  • Up to 1TB of internal storage
  • Single front camera
  • Rear quadruple camera
    • Main sensor with standard lens
    • Secondary sensor with ultra-wide lens
    • Tertiary sensor with telephoto / zoom lens
    • ToF 3D quaternary sensor for depth detection
  • Connectivity 5G
  • Support for fast 45W charging and wireless charging

The Galaxy Note 10 and its brother Note 10 Pro are expected to be presented by the South Korean brand in the third quarter, as is usual with the company. Until then, more rumors must certainly appear, giving us more details about the pair.

Huawei Mate X beats 1 Gbps of speed in 5G

Even in the midst of conflict with the US government , Huawei does not seem interested in dropping the expectation set for the foldable Huawei Mate X smartphone . As the handset will support 5G , nothing is fairer than displaying the speed results obtained with the new telecommunication technology.

That's what He Gang, head of Huawei's smartphone division, did. He showed that the mobile can reach speeds of more than 1 Gbps download and almost 100 Mbps upload when connected to 5G. The images released by He also show that the device is able to switch between different networks.

Despite the good results, the test has one caveat. It was made inside a research lab of China Unicom operator. Therefore, this speed will probably not be seen in a real scenario, with interference of buildings and other elements present in the cities.

Announced during MWC 2019 , the Huawei Mate X has drawn attention to having a fold-out screen, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Fold . According to an information that appeared in the official page of the mark , the device can begin to be sold still this month of June. So far, it has no set price.

64GB is abandoned! New iPhone is expected to start from 128GB storage

How much storage is enough for the mobile phone? In recent years, mobile phone memory has been turned from 16GB, 32GB, 64GB to 128GB standard, and even the hammer R1 mobile phone also supports 1TB storage, which is enough to see the larger and larger body storage is a major trend in future mobile phones.

In fact, 128GB is the standard configuration of most mainstream mobile phones. As the demand of users continues to increase, mobile phones with 64G memory are gradually abandoned.

According to GSMArena, the 2019 iPhone may be equipped with 128GB of starting memory, and 64GB will be a history, including the cost-effective iPhone 11R . At present, the top version of the 2018 iPhone is equipped with up to 512GB of memory. Does the increase in the base storage mean that the top version of the iPhone 11 will have 1TB of storage space?

In fact, in the 2018 iPhone, the iPhone XS started with 64GB of RAM, and even did not have a 128GB option, but jumped directly to 256GB. It's not hard to see Apple's careful machine. After all, 64GB of memory is really not enough, but 256GB is obviously more than enough. Therefore, many users have chosen the relatively high-priced 256G version, which is a bit uneconomical and unnecessary. In this way, using the difference in the iPhone storage version to earn the biggest difference, this should be considered "ingenious means" during Cook's tenure.

What is the storage space of your mobile phone for your personal use, do you think it is enough? Your Comment is Welcomed

Almost MacBook? New iPadOS will support mouse as accessibility feature

Introduced on Monday (3) , during WWDC 2019 , Apple's new operating system for iPads will rely on mouse support. The function would be included as an accessibility feature within the platform.

Compatibility on iPadOS was discovered by Irish developer Steve Troughton-Smith - famous for consulting the internal codes of "Apple". He even posted a video on his Twitter account to show the feature. Watch the following:

Instead of the traditional mouse cursor, Apple's tablet operating system would show a dark circle on the screen, which is controllable with the accessory. However, the novelty would work only with a cable-connected mouse - that is, it is possible to discard the use of Bluetooth models.

Mouse support can also be checked in the settings of the iPadOS operating system. To do this, simply go to the following path: Settings> General> Accessibility.

The trend is that Apple does not widely publicize the feature, as it did not even announce the support during its presentation in the event aimed at developers. Also worth mentioning is that the platform is still in beta. That is, changes may occur until the final edition is available.

What do you think about the possibility of using a mouse on the iPad? Share your opinion with us in the space below!

Galaxy Note 10: rumor suggests end of both headphone Jack and physical buttons

After the first major leak regarding a possible Galaxy Note 10 camera module manufacturing, new rumors have begun to emerge indicating what the final design of Samsung's next big flagship launch for the market might be  in 2019.

With a centralized circular notch and four rear cameras - with three photo sensors and a ToF 3D sensor - we soon saw the first concept pointing to the final design of Note 10, but now a new leak reveals what we can see on the device , and it looks like it should be more impressive than we imagined.

No physical buttons, and no headphone jack

With the announcement of Meizu Zero concept smartphones and live APEX 2019 earlier this year, we saw that companies are already preparing to introduce different devices: completely wireless and without physical buttons, and it seems that Samsung can start to invest in these differentials , although not on a bold scale.

The information is from sources linked to the Android Police and claim that the South Korean giant would be planning to introduce the Galaxy Note 10 without physical buttons for volume control, power and Bixby. That way, the company would enable sensors on the sides of the device as we have seen be done on the HTC U12 Plus .

However, instead of still offering button-like representation on the U12 Plus, Samsung really should put aside the idea of clickable buttons to display something more futuristic like creases on the body of the handset to highlight which particular area needs to be pressed to activate the functions.

With the new idea Samsung should declare the death of the headphone connector in the Galaxy Note line, and maybe it continues to exist in the Galaxy S line (although nothing is guaranteed).

Concept updated

Below you can see the updated Galaxy Note 10 concept by offering the four rear cameras, the center-circular circular notch on the screen and without the physical push buttons, but with deeper areas on the sides.

Two models: one larger, one smaller

According to information from the Android Police, the source confirms that there will be two models for the Galaxy Note 10. While traditional would have the expected 6.5 ", 6.6" or 6.7 "larger screen to give the productivity-oriented line, a smaller model would also be being developed.

The leak confirms other rumors earlier this year that have pointed to a second Note 10 device called Galaxy Note 10e . There is no information on whether or not the company should adopt this nomenclature for the model.

More information should emerge in the coming months as we are getting closer to the announcement of the Galaxy Note 10. With Note 9 being introduced in New York on August 9, the company is expected to follow the same release window for the new flagship, with revelation during the first weeks of April.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 may get 'DeX Live' feature, according to trademark

Samsung has applied for the Dex Live brand name in the European Union. This may be a wireless version of the DeX software - for the Galaxy Note 10 and the Note 10 Pro , with a bit of luck.

Galaxy Note 10 with DeX Live

In 2017, Samsung launched its Desktop eXtension DeX with the Galaxy S8. What was then still a dock, evolved via the DeX Pad for the Galaxy S9 to the DeX cable for the Note 9 and Galaxy S10 . The next logical step here is probably a wireless variant. That was already apparent last fall, when Samsung hinted at its own forum for wireless DeX connections. Possibly that is the new DeX functionality that a new trademark winks at.

Check out the Ad before further reading

At the European Union Intellectual Property Organization , a request from Samsung appears for registration of the Dex Live brand name. The name is clear, and the description leaves little to be guessed about:

"Application software, namely, for projecting the screen or mobile device to displays via computer peripheral devices and wireless networks"

The chance that this is a wireless application of the now familiar DeX software is therefore certainly present. The precise, practical details of a wireless DeX variant are of course not further revealed in a brand name registration.

We can, however, guess a little with which device this will all make its debut. Finally, new DeX variants were always launched with a new Galaxy S or Note phone. We therefore assume that this will be one of the new gadgets that you will find on the Galaxy Note 10. That device will make its appearance in August , in two and a half months. An XL variant will be possible when the Note 10 Pro is released.

Galaxy Tab S5 also possible

Check out the Ad before further reading

And if we look at the coffee grounds anyway: in 2018 the DeX cable variant was not only available in the Note 9. At the same time, the Tab S4 also appeared with the same functionality. Not long ago we discovered that Samsung is working on a next generation of high end tablets - christened Galaxy Tab S5 for convenience . With a little luck, that device will also be launched this summer, and if that happens probably with the same DeX Live feature.

Moto Z4 leaks on Amazon, buyer receives the device before launch

The Moto Z4 has not even been announced by Motorola , but there are many rumors surrounding the device - including a protective cover caught on Amazon this month . Now, see, the same retailer would have let slip yesterday (27) the announcement of the novelty in its pages. The most curious thing is that he was able to buy before the company withdrew the offer from the air and ... already received the device!

"Purchase page that was on Amazon is no longer available"

Check out the Ad before further reading

Of course the site soon fixed the gaffe and no one else was able to get the device. But as you can see from the recovered copy of the Internet Archive , the specs, which were no longer that secret, are now all there: the Moto Z4 comes with Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 608 GPU, 4 GB RAM, internal storage 128GB (expandable up to 2TB with microSD) and 3600 mAh battery (15W quick recharge).

The screen is a 6.4-inch OLED Gorilla Glass 3 with FHD + resolution (2340 x 1080) and digital reader under the dashboard. The selfie camera is in a notch shaped like a drop and features 25 MP. The rear main sensor has 48 MP with "Quad Pixel" technology, which transforms into 12 MP with superior quality.

Source: Internet Archive

The device also comes with the Moto 360 Camera Mod module to attach to the rear, where Moto Snaps accessories are traditionally attached. It was listed at $ 500 and apparently there is a proprietary version of Amazon that brings several company apps built into the software, entitled to the digital assistant Alexa.

Buyer made unboxing and posted his first impressions on Reddit

To prove the curious case, the user JETFIRE007 posted on Reddit a video with details about the Moto Z4 coming out of the box. "Overall I'm satisfied. I need to do some more camera tests, because at a glance, the photos look great, but I noticed that some kind of filter is applied to some images. It's something I expect to fix or tweak using an app like the Google camera app, "he said in a note .

So, what do you think? For now, Motorola has not yet commented on this unexpected purchase and there is not even a release date - but, apparently, that day should not be far behind.

Redmi K20 Pro: Xiaomi Introduces Cheap Top End Smartphone with Popup Cam

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro as a kind of successor to the hugely popular Pocophone F1. At an extremely low price, the customer gets a high-end smartphone with top features, which now even without Notch and comes with a retractable front camera.

Check out the Ad before further reading

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is the flagship model of the new K20 series and comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. The panel is to cover the front of the device to nearly 92 percent and has no cutout for the front camera and only a narrow "chin" at the bottom. The screen is in 19.5: 9 format and should be able to light up to 600 candelas if required.

The front camera with its 20 megapixel resolution and an f / 2.0 aperture sits in an extendable module that can be extended within 0.8 seconds. It has a "sapphire crystal" cover to prevent scratches and, according to the manufacturer, should withstand at least 300,000 extension and retraction procedures. The K20 Pro also has a new fingerprint reader underneath the surface of the AMOLED screen, which is designed to enable significantly faster user recognition.

Inside the device is the latest high-end technology around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, whose eight cores reach a maximum of 2.84 gigahertz. Among other things, Xiaomi promises that with new materials, one wants to achieve an optimal dissipation of the resulting heat, in order to enable extended loads such as game sessions without chokes. Depending on the model, the chip is combined with six, eight or even twelve gigabytes of RAM, while the internal flash memory with 64, 128 or 256 GB is also quite neatly dimensioned.

For the cameras, Xiaomi relies on the current concept of combining different sensors into a triple-cam unit. The main sensor is a Sony IMX586 with 48 megapixel resolution, which has a six-part lens and pixel-binning to deliver sharper images. The main camera has a f / 1.75 aperture, but comes without an optical image stabilizer therefore. The second camera on the back uses a 13 megapixel sensor with an f / 2.4 aperture and an almost 125 degree wide field of view for ultra wide-angle shooting. There is also a zoom lens with 8-megapixel sensor and f / 2.4 aperture.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro has also built a 4000mAh large battery, which can be loaded extremely fast with Quick Charge 4.0. In addition to the USB-C port used for this device, unlike most current top smartphones, the device also has a 3.5 millimeter jack connection for headsets and headphones, which is housed at the upper end next to the retractable front camera. Also welcome is the support for the new dual-GPS technology, which allows a meter-new positioning.

As usual, the funk will be done via ac-WLAN, Gigabit-LTE and, by the way, also via NFC. The smartphone has a housing made of glass and metal and brings it with a height of 8.8 millimeters to a weight of 191 grams. Xiaomi intends to start distribution of the K20 Pro in China as of June 1, placing a price of only 2499 yuan for the base version with six GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which equates to € 323. For the output with doubled internal memory converted 336 euros are due, while in the models with 8 / 128GB converted 362 euros and 8/256 GB memory only 388 euros are due.

Should the Chinese manufacturer be able to implement these prices even approximately in the same form in Europe, the competitors should certainly have to dress warmly. In addition to the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro Xiaomi also presented the "normal" K20, in place of the high-end SoC a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 is used with up to 2.2 gigahertz. The further equipment is here practically identical, whereby it starts with this model priced with converted only scarcely 260 euro.
