Microsoft Edge has a new logo

Microsoft updates its Chromium based Edge browser logo . The "discovery" was made thanks to a new mini-game hidden in the last Canary versions. The symbol recalls a wave with colors ranging from blue to green, from the graphic that seems to be in line with that of the new icons that will arrive on Office .

This change occurs four years after the restyling that introduced the current blue logo to replace the classic symbol deriving from Internet Explorer. The letter "e" remains visible, in this case revised in a decidedly more modern key.

The new logo should debut with the release of the definitive version of Edge Chromium, of which Microsoft released a beta version last August and a more stable version that recently appeared on the web. Next week Microsoft will hold its Ignite conference in Orlando. Likely that, on that occasion, more information will be released.
