Google Search on PC now displays Material Design icons; check out

Google continues to offer more updates to its applications and services across platforms. While continuing to make the dark mode available to dozens of applications before the arrival of Android 10 Q - which will definitely support the dark interface natively in the operating system - the company now begins to introduce a simple newness to Desktop Search.

After a few months of testing by the company, with images emerging in March this year, Google now releases all new icons for the Search tool.

As you can see below, the update displays magnifying glass icons next to the All option , a newspaper icon next to the News option , a price tag for Shopping , a screen with a play icon for Videos , and a Google Maps for Maps and several others as you can see below.

Depending on where the user is searching for, the icon changes to color and highlight where the person is, while the rest of the options are grayed out.

What's new is being made available to all Google users, and you may already have access to the new icons right now. For now this is the only change in desktop mode for the Search, but the Mobile Whole will keep an eye on any news that may arise, so stay tuned!
