Google LARA 2019: sign up for the program that distributes scholarships for computer research

How about Google's help in funding your Master's or PhD project in Computer Science? For the seventh consecutive year, Google holds the Latin American Research Awards - LARA -, a scholarship program that was born precisely to boost innovation and reward projects that aim to solve day to day problems through technology.

The program is aimed at students of masters or doctorates of universities of Latin America and also for their teachers and advisers.

Entries can be made until July 29.

In the 2019 edition, LARA will distribute R $ 2 million to projects from all over the region .

The selected scientists will receive individual scholarships to develop their projects in Computer Science, Engineering and related areas in the course of a year.

Since the LARA was launched in 2013, more than 70 projects have benefited throughout Latin America.

A striking feature of many of these initiatives is the search for innovative solutions to problems that exist in many areas, such as public health and digital entrepreneurship.
